Enough about Marnie being gone though.
So my 2 strongest allies right now are Ross and Jill.
"But Anthony," you say. "What's a strong alliance?"
At the moment I have no alliance with Kirby, a shattered alliance with Charlie (I don't trust him).
I have weak alliances with Casey, Jenny, Kate and the trashy girls who aren't Jill. These are all 'alliance of convenience' as the Russians might say. If things go bad, I'm out.
So a strong alliance as an alliance that you would only sabotage if it was the only way to keep yourself alive. Let's face it, in this game voting against the majority can get you killed. Better to stab your friend in the back and go on for a few rounds (maybe) then not vote for them, have them sent home anyway and have yourself sent home next.
The only people in Survivor who can vote with honesty are the Fabio's, those folks who get immunity so many times that they need never worry that they'll be voted off for going against the grain.
For the rest of us bastards, alliances are less important then our own survival
