nice choices!... Oprhan had a great twist, and The Last House didnt get enough credit it deserved... one of the best remakes of the twenty-first century!
JB was alright hehe... The music was good? lmao and The Ring was definitely scary when it first appeared on screens... but that scariness wore off pretty quickly when scary movie made fun of it haha
i wouldnt consider it a horror... but Jurassic Park definitely had some good scary parts... one of my fav movies of all time too!

I was going to say The Ring, but then I remembered really, the only part that scared me, was when it showed the cousin in the closet all messed up looking, and then it really only made me jump, because I could make someone look like that with the power of Photoshop! <3

I mean obviously Scream ranks the highest! It's amaaaaazing! I'm a sucker for the slasher movies. Halloween, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Urban Legend, etc. I have to say one of the more recent ones that scared me was Wolf Creek. Also the Grudge was great.

(I suggest this bitch above me not play.. Sidney should not be represented by someone like that) Good Movies Sidney! Wolf Creek was very eerie... "based on true events" movies are always pretty freaky! (u know they r making Wolf Creek 2? so stupid lol) but that reminds me of a movie I saw a couple years back called Cry_Wolf... it had a cheesy scenario and the acting wasn't great... but the twists were soooo crazy in that movie! you will never figure out who the killer is till the very end lol... they make it impossible to decode until you watch the flashbacks haha.

Mine would have to be Scream, Saw 2, The Ring, Orphan and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Santa's Slay and the Gingerdead Man are excellent "awesomely bad" horror movies if you want to check those out too.

I'll have Ghostface cut you! Dewey- I agree Santa's Slay was so horribly bad that it was awesome. I liked the first Saw movie the best though. It was just whoa crazy. Trevor- YES! Cry_Wolf's twist was insane. I'll probably get a lot of smack for this one but I also liked One Missed Call and Stay Alive.

haha Sid... imo One Missed Call was lame lol... but Stay Alive was pretty interesting... not scary, but interesting lol. and Trudie lmao... i am def a true scream fan! Your hint was too vague lol.. i have seen that clip... looks like those two will be stab's latest victims with that writing and such... but i love how lucy isnt takin shit from ghostface like an innocent blondie... stab victims are becoming a little bit smarter (although a facebook stalker who uses Channing's bod as a dp is def stupid to have trudie haha)

i hate how many clips and tv spots they have released... its spoiling the entire movie... i already know half, if not more than half of the deaths due to these and stupid imdb poster's putting spoilers as subject titles. The one thing I do not know thank god is the killer/killers... but some tv spots are def making some ppl you wouldnt think would be the killer look very suspicious. I am banning myself from watching or reading anything about scream 4 from this day forward till the premiere!! but you guys can discuss scream 4 and other horrors on here as long as no one gives away spoilers!! please lol

agreed Marnie... while i wouldn't particularly put Saw under as a "scary" movie... it was definitely a smart gorey one.
In order of favorite to least favorite it is:
1.Saw -nothing beats the original.. ending was pure genius 2.Saw 2 -a great follow up with a completely new type of story.. great twists at the end 3.Saw 6 -had some neat traps, and a decent twist.. but i mostly liked it for how it related to todays society 4.Saw 3 -the plot is okay, but had some of the most brutal traps (wrack trap, vat trap).. interesting twist but sad ending 5.Saw 7 -The final chapter was pretty good and the traps were new, but it wasn't up to par and the end wasn't that shocking 6.Saw 4 -While the plot and traps were pretty boring, i loved the idea/twist they came up with at the end! 7.Saw 5 -The only one i saw in theatres just had to be the worst... felt uninspired, and the twist was pretty stupid imo

If you spoil Scre4m for me, I will hunt you down... The first 2 Saws were absolutely amazing. They could have stopped after that and it would have been just fine. 3 and 4 were both eh separately but when you see the twist for each of them, they're both a little better. Especially if you marathon them and watch them both right after each other. 5 is the worst one. I love Julie Benz but Saw 5... </3 Going off what Trevor said, 6 was better than 3 and 4 mostly because it was the one that people could relate to. And if you could relate to a horror movie without being a killer, that's just impressive. 7 was okay, but the ending was predictable on an epic scale. The traps weren't bad, but I did feel kinda sad for one character at the end who really had nothing to do with it... Best trap? Saw II, the needle pit. When Xavier threw Amanda in there... I always and forever get chills.

Best Trap... hmmm so many different ones to choose from. I'll divide it up:
Most Creative - The Steam Room
Most Gross - The Blade Table
Most Brutal - Wrack Trap
Most Scary - Reverse Beartrap (original)

Just pick another character I'm sorry, was that directed at me? Because no. Admitting it right now, I didn't watch the last two saw movies. 5 ruined it for me and, like Dewey, I <3<3<3 Julie Benz.
